ILLUSTRATION SYSTEM
Founded in 1953, Petrobras, with seven decades of history, has become a symbol of innovation and leadership in the energy sector. In its effort to expand its communication assets, the company commissioned a proprietary illustration style, aligned with its core values of energy, innovation, and social responsibility. The goal of the project was to create a cohesive visual system that would capture the essence of the brand and integrate harmoniously with its guidelines.
The illustrations convey Petrobras' dynamism through vigorous characters, representing diversity in collaborative and inclusive environments. The characters' curious and attentive expressions reflect the company's commitment to the constant pursuit of new ideas and solutions, while the strong presence of women in the scenes challenges the traditionally male-dominated image associated with the energy sector.
The project also involved the development of a set of guidelines to ensure the consistency of the visual identity in future creations, ensuring that each piece of communication continues to convey Petrobras' essential values. These guidelines strengthen the brand's visual system, preserving its integrity and impact across all points of contact.
